I'm Pastor Steven Pratt, Jr., and I'm delighted to offer you a glimpse into my life. I am blessed to be married to my beautiful wife, Laura, and together we have been on an incredible journey since our marriage on August 20, 1999. Our love story began when we met on the church bus in fifth grade, and our love for each other has grown stronger over the years.
Our family is a precious gift, and we cherish every moment we share with our three amazing children. Our oldest two children are now adults and living back in the United States. Our youngest daughter, Elizabeth (aka Ellie), is a special blessing and a constant source of delight in our lives. As a family, we navigate life's adventures, leaning on our faith and love for one another.

Steven Pratt Jr. is the Founding Pastor of FaithWay Bible Baptist Church, a new church plant in Calgary, AB, Canada. He and his wife, Laura Pratt, are passionate about bringing the gospel to Canada and establishing a vibrant Christian community in Calgary. Steven's journey in ministry began with a deep conviction and calling from God in March 2014. After years of preparation and training, he transitioned into full-time ministry in August 2020, dedicating his life to serving God and spreading the message of Jesus Christ.

Steven's training and mentorship under Pastor Josh Dixon at Bible Baptist Church of Wilmington, OH, United States, played a pivotal role in shaping his ministry. He underwent rigorous theological education and practical ministry experience, equipping him with the necessary skills and knowledge to lead a church plant. In March 2021, Steven was ordained and sent by Bible Baptist Church as a BBFI Career Missionary to Canada, affirming his commitment to ministry and further validating his calling.

With a strong foundation in the Baptist faith and a heart for reaching the lost, Steven is focused on fulfilling the Great Commission by bringing the gospel to the people of Calgary and beyond. He is dedicated to leading FaithWay Bible Baptist Church in its mission to passionately proclaim the Gospel, make disciples, and establish a thriving Baptist church in Alberta, Canada. Steven's commitment to the Word of God, his passion for evangelism, and his love for Jesus Christ serve as the driving force behind his ministry.
